KUNTHAI AUTHENTIC THAI RESTAURANT, KLANG

     

        Yesterday was my boyfriend's birthday. Usually, we will just go for a movie, a simple cake cutting between both of us and meal at any food & beverages in the shopping mall will be our option. But, this year I decided to to spend fully on good food as my boyfriend has grown up into a young man who basically loves food and only food. I have already ordered for him a surprise men's gift which will be delivered to his doorstep in few more days. So, as 7th March 2017 was the eve of his birthday and he basically worked on his birthday, we went for dinner at this very fine restaurant in Klang.


     I'm pretty sure most of the Klangites knew about this restaurant but many people struggle in finding the location as it is located inside a village area and it is away from the city's eyesight. Few months ago, a good friend of mine introduced this restaurant to me and we even went for our lunch there. The food were splendid and the prices of the dishes were reasonable too. The restaurant is known as the Kunthai Authentic Thai Restaurant, Jalan Pendamar, Klang. This restaurant is somewhere near the border of Klang-Banting. The route towards this restaurant is very dark, silent and bumpy. If you are going alone or in a small group, I would recommend you guys to reach there before it gets dark and leave by 12am as the place is located in a desserted area. But, if you are going in a large group and few cars, then it shouldn't be a problem. As for me, I went with my "Superman" so the night drive wasn't scary as I thought as he was there to entertain me along the way, lol. The road towards the restaurant is very very bumpy. When I mean bumpy, extremely bumpy with holes and bumpers here and there. It is a village area in Klang I suppose, as there were small houses and huts along our journey there. From Shah Alam, it took approximately 30 minutes for us to reach the location.


           As a first timer, my boyfriend felt awkward. We parked our car and entered inside the restaurant which looked like the olden days Thai dining. The place were filled with statues, dolls and huts-like eating area. This restaurant is located just beside a rivershore and this is the best part of this place. The rivershore was the attraction that impressed me during my first time here. I wanted to sit near the rivershore. But, too bad since we reached around 9pm, the restaurant was quite full. So, we sat inside the restaurant. It is an outdoor dining but there are options for us to sit inside the restaurant or outside near the rivershore. We had a look at the menu and my boyfriend was quite surprised with the price.

    We ordered a small set of Mixed Seafood Tom Yum, Khunthai Fried Rice(medium), Khunthai Chicken Wings(small), a glass of Watermelon juice and a large bottle of Carlsberg beer- of course for him. I don't drink, haha. For a small and medium set, the portion was quite large. I have included photos of the dishes in this blog. The food really filled up our tummies. After a good chat while waiting for my boyfriend to finish his beer, we requested for the bill. Since it's his birthday, I promised to treat him the dinner and my budget was about RM100 and looking at the food, I expected about 80-90 bucks. When the bill came, I was shocked. For that load of food, the charges were only RM65.20. Like seriously, I even double checked the receipt to see if the cashier had missed out any items. But, no! Everything were there. Wow ! That's a huge wow!

   I just can't describe the satisfaction of dining in Kunthai Thai Authentic Restaurant. You guys should experience it once for yourself. Affordable price, delicious food, wide choices of dishes to be choose from and beautiful setting of the location. The "bumpy" journey will definitely be worth it.

Towards The End Of The Year :D

  It's been few months since I last blogged. Life is good now. I have completed 3 semesters of my degree life :) Beginning my new semester next week and the happy part is, I scored quite-a-good GPA for my final exam this semester. Hard work was finally paid off. I am more than glad that I made it for this semester. For my previous semesters, I only managed to work for an average pointers. This time, I successfully scored a good pointer. It is not easy to be working and studying at the same time. ~ A one-way road to Heart Break city ~

It has been almost a year since I last blogged. Things are so much different now compared to how it used to be when I last updated my blog last year. I got heartbroken, betrayed, moved on. But, somehow, I fell into the same ditch again and here I am. Heartbroken and stupid. Standing still wandering what to do next in life. My friends and family are being the greatest source of motivation and moral support to me. I can call or leave them a message anytime and they'd be there for me to talk, of course! But, asking someone to move on is not as tough as how it actually works. It requires someone to break down for a million times in order to actually move on and rise up again.
